Coleman to Burnley?

Quick thought...
Looks like Burnley will be after a new manager come tomorrow tea-time, do you reckon Coley will be linked considering his ability to work on a shoe-string?
I think it would be nice for him to be linked however I couldn't see it happening as Burnley would want someone proven at a higher level (I presume).

So you think you have friends on here!!!

Coley is due to sign a contract extension here at the Crown!!

Also he's no experience at fighting relegation battles, so I'm not sure his CV will do BFC.

Dave Basset is available I hear!!!

I was going to ask if he was going to Burnley, could he drop a sack off in Barrowford but realised it was Coleman not Coal Man:D

As a part-time Rover I saddens me to say that I don't think they'll be involved in one, Coyle (if he leaves) will leave a team that is resillient and can cope with changes for a while and there home form (mainly due to the fans) should just about keep them up regardless of who is in charge.
And unless you've just started supporting Stanley more often than not (I presume, being a young un) Coleman has been involved in relegation battles.

more often than not?

in 11 years at Stanley he has successfully fought 3 relegation battles (in League 2), successfully fought 3 promotion battles (Unibond 1st, Unibond Prem and the Conference) had four years of top ten and this year is on the cusp of the play-offs with games in hand that could put us 5th.

prior to that he finished 3rd and then 2nd with Ashton United

prior to that he was probably one of the greatest strikers in English non-league history - and without looking up the stats players like that tend to be at the right end of the league.

retraction due methinks
