The new club started playing at the Crown Ground, which is now called The Fraser Eagle Stadium, in Livingstone Road, although they did spend one or two seasons back at the old club's former home at Peel Park due to ground problems in the early 1970s.

...got the stadium name wrong too, and we didn't go back to Peel Park for "one or two seasons", it was just one match (2-2 draw against Nelson in March, 1973).

Right, I'll get me anorak. ;)

Dont worry about other clubs making mistakes. Have you seen the new Stanley 'brochure' - states we were founder members of the football league. If we can't get it right.......

True, the odd 'typo' like on the wearestanley site is understandable but misinformation is not acceptable, especially when it is not corrected or there is little or no chance of doing so.

The man in charge of that team will have slightly more home advantage than anybody else. Ashley Hoskin is now reserve team manager :)
