I rarely drink, a pint would knowck me out :) How about the 3 main supporters groups, OSC, ASSF & Ultras join forces for one night and arrange a public forum, invite both parties to give their plan of the future, q&a session, then public vote. Do you reckon both sides would agree to it ? :) |
Re: A Little Fairy Story
Hold it at the Club and invite an independent mediator/referee/impartial chairman to ensure fair and appropriate questioning and it could have a life.
Are not going to have a glass with Owen tonight......:D |

Thanks Jeff i think u know them too well :D:D
I think the last line is the 'stupidity' the opposing party will no doubt follow, but Ilyas can surely apply to have his debts repaid or place them in admin temporarily to aacquire the club back ...................so seems that the scary admin word maybe the way its gonna go:eek: |
Re: A Little Fairy Story
I would agree that not many would really cares what the other side may want to say; but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have the opportunity to be heard. If they do block the share issue they would have to justify it, if not to us, then certainly the board. Can’t see why anyone, even Eric would want to go back to being non-league, there would be no money or kudos in it for anyone.
We could be a season or more away from all this being settled; both sides should at least try and work things through if only to support what the lads are doing on the pitch….Higher league football would bring in sponsors and money (possibly) but only if the club (broad) can be taken seriously by those other than Ilyas parting with their money. Both sides should take something like this as an opportunity to be open and transparent |
Re: A Little Fairy Story
you may call it a dignified silence doug, nowt dignified about lies when they do utter, meself i call it "Running Scared" wake up n smell the coffee.

Re: A Little Fairy Story
Trouble is Doug they HAVE had the opportunity to have their say & put things right in a transparent way as Ilyas has led the example BUT as on fishy site, it will be 'next week' or 'later' and that time never seems to happen.
Go go into admin out of spite is just purely selfish & nasty, not just to us fans but to Coley, Jimmy & our players - whom are proving top flight of this league or even Div 1! To go back down over stubborness is purely detrimental to themselves & to the club name and the pheonix flames to dampen forever, imho. |
Re: A Little Fairy Story
Cashy, we have a long way to go before all this rots down. We have to be open to negotiation/mediation with those in power if we are to prevent anyone sending us back to 62. Any short term administration would give the wrong signal and the opportunists would have a field day.
If there is a hill to climb between them and Ilyas then independent mediation in a public arena may well be a way forward. |

The public/local business must be getting sick of all this and it can only get worst if the team get effected by it. every path, every Road leads somewhere.....we shouldn't look back and stop walking just because we don't like what we hear. |

Re: A Little Fairy Story
sorry whilst every path n every road, sounds wonderful, in reality if that road leads to administration, we should oppose this. whilst doug says he has only heard it from us, not them, would ya honestly expect em to say if they were trying to orchestrate this? to blame imagination going into overdrive is naive at the best.
