am hopeful grimps, just been out wi me dog on field near ground n seemed firm but not frozen, so hopefully daytime sun will leave it playable, just my twopennorth.

At least our "little" defenders won't have "The Beast" Mansett to worry about. He's about to sign for Reading for a reported fee of 440,000+!!!!!

Think that the frost would help to be honest Grimps, it might help to make the pitch harder - especially in the middle!!!

Just got home as working nights, temp fell to -5.5 overnight hope they had the covers on. Off to bed now so hopefully catch you all at the game if its on.

As long as the pitch is rolled and not rutted anywhere it should be okay by this afternoon. Just about 0 degrees now so should start defrosting soon :)
