For once I find myself agreeing with Katei. Until the club admits these claims, HMRC issue a winding-up order or some other creditor gets the bailiffs in, all we have is word of mouth. (That's not to knock the credibility of anyone at the meeting or giving out information.)

thanks SM i know i did admit that i may be off my rocker in an earlier post but with this afternoons posting i really was begining to think i was lossing the plot

clear facts is what is needed in a time like this it isnt a soap drama we are talking about but its our club!

although a soap drama rights for this may get sum £££s lol

Only time will tell if that's correct or not. However this sort of thread would have kicked off as soon as the Observer came out anyway, the denial of the debt was not as a result of the meeting, it preceded it because of rumours earlier in the week and the press started asking questions.

Press start digging Rob says we owe £30k.

Stanley organise a quick meeting before the do do hits the fan because they haven't told anyone.

At meeting its said we owe 100k.

Paper comes out with Rob saying we owe £30k which was from days earlier.

Simples :D

wtf, please can somebody start a new thread with some facts, if asfc want to continue as a business then somebody representing them at board level should be out and about stating facts rather than 157 useless posts by us lot.
I run my own business and I can tell you exactly what I owe, to whom and when it's due, come on Stanley give your customers some facts and lets get the fans involved in sorting out these problems, you will be surprised what can be achieved by the masses, take a look at Egypt

My club's forum is full of people who claim to have inside knowledge, others who defend the club come hell or high water and the rest who think they can manage the team better than the manager. I come here for a break :D
