Re: Season Tickets - 2011/12

i always wished that we did publish figures for season ticket sales (and other stuff). As a nosy get I always liked the old days when you could analyse how much wages, gate income, draw money, or transfer monies received or paid had increased or decreased on the previous season, and what effect those increases/decreases had on the playing results.

But then again last seasons, and the season before, the rough figures we had of around 700 were word of mouth and included the freebie kids tickets. It's a long way from Swindon, who have just been relegated from League 1, who have sold 4000 tickets

Not everyone was notified anyway for existing ticket holders & offer hasn't been extended to everyone else as far as the 50/50 to capture new or former season ticket holders  I haven't had a mail shot by snail or email, so people are missing out still.

Burnley announced theirs after the early bird offer finished. That may have been because they were shocked at the 10.5k sales though :D

Re: Season Tickets - 2011/12

yeah i'm sure they have to have an adult with them, I dont think the rules are strict on whether there are more than one kid either, as long as you dont take the mick and bring the whole youth club!

if your a neutral and you can have blackburn in the prem for £200, then im sorry, we lose out every time.
How much are Burnleys next season ?

Cheapest early bird ticket was £345 but that expired 31st March, cheapest now is £428.

Rovers tickets are heavily subsidised, there's no way Stanley can compete with them it would be financial lunacy

Re: Season Tickets - 2011/12

Yes £200 is cheap for premiership football, but if you buy one instead of a Stanley ST then that means you'll have to go to Ewood and actually watch Rovers play and sit with the most fickle fans in Lancashire, you may save money but will lose your sanity.:dflam:

Re: Season Tickets - 2011/12

I suppose this is the tightrope the Club walks get it wrong and things take a dip with the knock on's that go with it extra revenue through the store, programmes etc. and vice versa the other way round.

I just hope we have managed to maintain what we had and hopefully plan to build on it, some of it may become self fulfilling if we win the play-offs but the thing that worries me is it possible we may end up with more away fans to a good percentage of games than home fans?
