It depends what he wants to do after retiring - if we approach him with the few of becoming player-coach we can offer experience of working under the wing of a cracking football league manager, might make up for the lesser wages.

I would class being the captain of a team in the play off final a success...

I would say Mark Roberts is quite good at his best but I genuinly wouldnt play him in front of edwards or hessey, or kevin long for that matter.. byrom wouldnt get in the team either. Hes barely played all season and he got lucky by playing in the first leg against us due to injuries, no chance of getting in our midfield this season

If you don't class winning the Conference and being in a Play-Off final as flourishing besides the fact they both built there careers back through non-league football after leaving Stanley then I don't know what is?

A player like Chris Turner was a good player and a player like him was on peanuts! So getting rid of players like him is simply not about money!!

unfortunatly now we need our chairman to up the game with investers etc! We need to not get rid of players because we cant afford other players wages, we need to sort practical and good wages for players we need to keep etc! if we dont then were just going nowhere and it will be the on going cycle were all imune to now!

Not sure you should rwad this one FC
