Money would be the sticking point for me, the teen fancies starting watching again but it's too expensive for both of us for what amounts to 90 mins of "entertainment".
** £17 is her bus pass to 6th form for a week**

I suspect the past few years of late postponements will have been one factor in the stayaways. Be honest how many of you expected it to be on ? :).

How did Alan Gow play apart from his 2 goals. I would have thought he was too good for League 2

Alan Gow was a class apart and with him and Cureton up front the Grecians won't be far off come the end of the season.

Ok, I know that I have only been a season ticket holder for a few years so am a relative newcomer but I have got to have a rant about a large number of the more mature spectators in the main stand who do nothing but moan and groan at the way our young side are playing. Todays crowd was disappointingly low but that means that those of us who did attend MUST support and encourage. A small crowd means that your ridiculous comments can be heard by the players so how do you expect them to raise their game when they hear your whinging. Frankly, if you are going to express these views, I would rather you didn’t bother attending. Perhaps the subject of how we raise the home support would be a cracking topic for a new thread? I’ve not been contributing long enough to dare start that thread but I will close this post by urging all to GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM.

Mate, it's been done time and time again since this forum started over ten years ago. Between us, we've suggested everything - bring a friend, more advertising, special deals, match buses from Peel Street, Friday night football, lap dancers on the Clayton End blah blah ad infinitum. We've also come up with every possible excuse for the stayaways - Blackburn at home, Burnley at home, holidays, the weather, admission prices, the way the club is run, aliens landing in Livingstone Road etc etc.

Nothing has made any difference. Our gates are no better than they were in the first season in the conference. Sadly, I've come to the conclusion that nothing is going to rouse the Accrington public from their zombie-like apathy. If anyone thinks differently, please feel free to air your suggestions!

sadly Wynonie, the lap dancing idea was never tried ... pretty sure I'd try to double my current attendance rate if it was!

Thought we didn't play that badly today, sh1tty goals against, not enough chances created and the few half chances not converted.

Thought Will, Shephard and chippendale were our only decent attacking players

Can't understand why our only goal threat was taken off (was he injured?) and even more baffling is why Gray wasn't put on when we needed a goal. I've still never seen ckarky have a shot or even look close to scoring.
