Re: James Beattie - Do the Honourable Thing
No need for anyone to apologise as nothing has been proven one way or the other.
People are forgetting, James Beattie is operating on our highest wage bill since returning to the league. The club is getting itself in more debt to support Beattie. We are 22nd in the league on equal points with the team in 23rd. If we lose our next game and drop to the bottom of the league, will I be on here shouting the manager down? No, because nothing much would have changed. James Beattie has proven nothing yet and in all honesty none of the claims I and others have made have been proven. Averageing less than a point a game is not success and nor should it be applauded. After 10 league games Mr.Beattie was rightfully criticised. After 20 the situation will be rejudged. One thing is for certain, we are in a far better place in the table than we where after 10 games. The jury is still out. |

Also is it really needed to keep reminding Dav about this as its his own opinion and for me its still to be proven wrong. |
Re: James Beattie - Do the Honourable Thing
No one needs to remind Davo about his opinions, he does that often enough himself.;)
But this web site would be less enjoyable without his inputs. |

C'mon, Davo. The Accy Observer!
A font of sporting misinformation. |

If I recall it correctly, It was a peter Marsden quote

Re: James Beattie - Do the Honourable Thing
Then that's good news to my ears if it comes from the guy who's actually stumping up the money, surely.
However, I think we all know that your response, Davo, will be something along the lines of how The Merseyside Messiah would have had Stanley playing in Europe with that sort of money. Maybe, maybe not. But just let's be a tad happy, and grateful that Peter Marsden is putting his money where our hearts and hopes are. |
