I hope that we submit these as evidence in any hearing.

How fantastic to contrast that idiot's behaviour with the dignity of our own manager. And sad that Paul S had to be dragged into Cook's nonsense.

I know that in today's terrible Health and Safety world someone always has to be to blame, but the unfortunate injury to Gardner was 100% accidental, having seen the video. As Shaker has already posted Murphy went for a 50/50 ball totally in control. It is hard to freeze the action at precisely the moment before Murph catches the guy, but we are talking about microseconds in real time and it is impossible to see whether or not he even booted the ball before making contact. Of course it is difficult for refs when coaches and players these days scream blue murder for a sending of in such situations and I'm not exempting our lot from criticism, either, although JB does keep his cool rather better than most of his fellow managers.

As of late this afternoon the club had not been contacted by the FA about the incident.

90% of competent referees would not have given a foul, a 50/50 tackle ball taken and no intent. Its just Accrington always get the other 10% of the refs? The idiot in charge at Portsmouth totally bottled it when Murphy was on the end of the worst challenge off the ball I have seen anywhere this year a real attempted leg breaker. As for the idiot on Saturday he waved play on (advantage)when I think Murphy was felled late and when play eventually halted did nothing. Then Bettinelli getting kicked round the ear hole by a player on the ground and finally the late challenge just before half time.Gary Roberts spent the day diving, one in front of us rolling round clutching his face, the ref clearly saw his acting but no booking in fact can anyone explain why they never had a booking?I could go on but rant over and time to get geared up for tonight!!!

Here is the sequence;-
1) 50x50 situation
2) Murphy gets the ball
3) Ball rebounds off Gardner who is caught by the follow through

So are you saying the booking was correct? In my eyes Murphy was first to the ball and played the ball,he caught Gardner I agree, but was Gardner not the one who was late to the tackle it seems that way to me? I stand to be corrected.
