he is strong and talented but lets himself down with poor fitness.
He could have played at a high level if he got himself in shape.
No one denies his talent.

I recall first seeing him with Stanley at Farnborough Town, but I think you may be confusing talent with potential. If he had undeniable talent I suspect he wouldn't be unattached?

There are lots of examples of players with lots of talent who dont make it due to application.
Remember michael johnson at man city?
Same could be said for leighton mcgiven, lots of talent but wasnt commited.
