Can understand the lad, doubt if he will get a better club, but will probably get more dosh.;)

He's also just stuck this on! Massive sham! In my eyes Murphy is like a Proctor, suits the club , suits his role and will always be a fans favourite! I think a move will end up like Proctors too but you've got to take your chances in football with football not too long of a career! All the best Peter!

Post on twitter from Murph thanking Stanley for giving him the opportunity to be a pro footballer and how he will always have a great affection for the club. Have to assume that unfortunately he has gone and if so good luck to the lad he's been a great servant and provided us all with some heart stopping last minute moments

Good luck to Mr.Murphy. He's been a stalwart for Stanley for those eight years and contributed a lot to this season's resurrection. Will miss seeing both his injury time goals and his folks in the stands.

Seconded exile.
Still a young lad and technically very sound, plus he scores goals !!
We will miss his versatility and still can't believe he won't be there in pre-season,nice lad and a good player

Is he still under 24? If so I hope we offered a good contract so they can base our compo on that?

Not 100% certain but I think it's a year to late for that one

Murphy's been a good player for the Reds, took time initially for him to settle and make the step up to the First team since then has filled all manner of roles and has proved himself a versatile player also with a knack of finding the net.

I wish him Luck wherever he goes and will watch his career with interest.

Be an excellent signing for us! :D

100% in agreement Keith. :D

What better way to put himself in the shop window for a better move later on than with us? Tom Aldred at Accy has done just the same and looks to be on his way to MK Dons or Bournemouth."
Any "legs" in this?[/QUOTE]
