Let,s start by promoting the Bury game Friday maybe some ticket offers and get some much needed new fans down the Crown spending money in and around the ground hopefully.

I would sincerely urge the club to kill this hare-brained scheme right now, before any more damage is done.

I was going to write something deep and meaningful, but I'm lost for words. Whoever thought this was a good idea? Embarrassing. Tinpot. Amateurish.

Heads should roll for this abject debacle. Surely we have been trying to fight off the 'milk' tag for years without having to have this embarrassment to compound the 'joke club' perception!

how come the Guardian paper knew about this before the supporters????????

Didn't think we needed any more players to add to our team , there are enough players who don't get a game to start with.

No harm in adding quality to the squad rather than sticking with Coley's favourites like Roddan, Barry and Crooks.

There is quality sat on the bench.

I agree with you, but if we are to challenge for a play-off spot then quality is needed on the pitch and the bench.

As long as the likes of Simpson, Crooks, Barry and Roddan are around and in the matchday squad this is not the case and the sooner it is sorted the better.

Given the contribution of their player to the "cup tie that never was" perhaps Huddersfield Town would like to buy all 250 commemorative tickets.

As ideas go, it's up there with Alan Partridges youth hostelling with Chris Eubank and Monkey Tennis.

I can just imagine proudly showing my framed ticket to my 2 grandsons, aged 7 and 9.
"Wow, grandpa, that must have been quite a game! What was the score then"?
Me - " Well...... how can I explain this?

Quite unbelievable really, car boot sale next week? Or maybe throwing sponges at the players and management perhaps?
