This isn't an ordinary business though, the players will have had some idea if they want to stay or go, it's how it works. Doesn't take them a week to decide if a bigger club comes in with an offer ;) A week at Stanley usually means any time later, so it may not actually have been 7 days in the normal sense of the word 'week' :D

They were not FA rules, but Football League, I stated the deadline and time scales earlier in this thread.

Wasn't meant at you chief. I was just pointing out how easy it is to know the rules when "reengaging" players as they call it. I know the club have an extremely difficult job also.
