I think it was said at the Fans Forum that Joyce had been offered and more or less accepted a new deal

We are interested I understand in Lee Molineaux at relegated Tranmere.

Is he worth a punt ?

Depends on a whole load of things, including travel and how much he feels "wanted".

Had a rubbish 12 months including some challenging family times:(

A top guy:)

Re: Out of contract players.

I would want to keep Liddle, Joyce, McCarten, Bruna and Atkinson. I would also keep Buxton if he wasn't so injury prone.

I know he is contracted but if another club came in for Crooks, maybe we could sell him, always remembering a hefty sell-on clause for when he signs for one of the really big clubs.

Re: Out of contract players.

Buxton,Hunt, Bruna,Naismith. I would seriosly consider if we should not sell some people like Gornell, Atkinson, Windass, which would release some capital to buy some better players. 73 goals conceded so far shows where the weak area is. I would hope Buxton will be injury free for all of next season. He is totally committed and perhaps should play a more attacking role. he goes in full bore where perhaps he shouldn't. on paper we had the quality of players to be in the play off's but we just did not get the mixture right. I don't see a future for james gray or Marcus carver under the current management structure and would be perhaps better off sold on. But it all depends on money.

He may have appeared to be injured a lot but his long spell out was more infected than injured, which probably makes him less injury prone than what we all think :)

When will we know for sure who is going? I don't expect to know about arrivals yet.

Gutted about Lids being released - when he's been given the chance on the pitch he's never given less than 110%, good luck Michael wherever you end up - big mistake letting you go IMHO
