To me we got good value for him when he went to Barnsley. We paid nowt to get him from Halifax. (free agent)

Did his spell at Barnsley make him a better player? Last I heard via our lads was he spent most of his Saturday afternoon's watching Jeff Stelling on the box!!

It will be interesting to find out if we did have a sell on clause ......... because Barnsley have a nice one in the contract with Luton.

He’s the type of player who was playing semi-pro that I previously mentioned
Wasn’t TomDavies another,Beckles etc..
Think morecambes just signed a young forward from Stockport.
Even Sean was playing at Stalybridge one time
Saying that,Coley is probably aware of anyone who puts in a decent season

Luton fans seem to think the deal was worth over £500k. Barnsley fans think they signed him off us for 500k.

he was aware of him plus another ex stockport player who signed for stevenage also.

A journo who isn't up to much IMHO. Quote "Stanley romped to the League One title last season" Unquote. Luton are making noises about advancement up the leagues, whereas Stanley will be trying to stabilise their position in League One. Didn't Luton think they were going to romp away with League 2? Well, I believe JC has already stated, we are not here to make up the numbers, we are an ambitious club, but keep that to ourselves and don't blow our trumpet to the whole world.

Its Jason Oswell that Morecambe have signed from Stockport . 29 goals last season in 45 games and we had to beat off competition from Port Vale and Lincoln among others apparently.

Then yesterday we signed Andrew Tutte from Bury and this time we beat off competition from Oldham and Carlisle among others to sign him.

It does seem as though our new owners are giving Jim something to work with at long last !

saw him a few times last season. excellent pre christmas but went off the boil a bit in the new year. will or should score for you given the right service and jim bentley can get him re motivated as he seemed to loose a bit of a nasty streak he had.
