Just been reading about Phil Edwards getting a bad knee injury in pre-season training with Bury, that needed an operation which apparently went quite well.
I hope that he gets fit soon and that he can have a couple of good seasons before 'ano domini' catches up with him like the rest of us. 'Sun Bed' Phil was one of my favourite players during his years here at Stanley!:alright: Good Luck Phil! |

He would have done better coming back to us. Standard of football probably not massively different and Burnley would have a kept a closer eye on his development. Not a great move for the lad.

Was just thinking the same Tom, bit surprised they've sent him over the border - thought Burnley rated him higher than that
