Just looking at Mr Holt's picture on twitter yesterday was quite unbelievable.

The amount of work that has gone on, in terms of ground clearance etc is superb.

Exciting times ahead.

The Govt's target is 8 weeks, or 13 weeks for a complicated or 'major' application.
But, in my experience, very few LPA's achieve those targets for anything other than porch extensions.
It also depends on the volume of opposition. As I've said before, it's politicians who make the decision and a storm of protest can often bring out the worst in some politicians, and delay decisions as wrangling takes place.
That's why it's important that those who support the proposal don't just sit there. Everyone who wants this to happen should take two minutes to go on the Council's web site (use the link in Baldy's post above) and support it.
