I expect us to take our rightful place above Accrington in the league table this season.

We apparently chatted to McCartan at the start of close season but didn't offer him anything.

If tha,s nowt to offer he choose writ then.

just like you were last season. if you don,t have your usual good start then you could struggle if you ditch your manager as some of you wanted last year and do what york did. no wonder shay didn,t go to morecambe as i think our offer would have been more than nothing. good luck anyway as long as you,re below us. by the way what are the morecambe take on the new paint pot trophy. interested to know what other clubs fans think.

That was before we knew if we were being taken over.

The take-over is now expected to happen before we kick a ball in anger at Grimsby so we are looking at better players than McCartan.

The Morecambe view of the new format for the Paint Pot trophy is that we voted against it and all the fans are against it. They are softening clubs up for when they try and put Premier development squads in the Football League.

Apparently it is Arron Davies left Exeter in close season and according to Wikipedia and Baldy he has signed not sure good experience 32 plays anywhere on the right.
