Cashy, all logic and reasoning goes out the window following your hometown team.
Blind loyalty ensures:) !!! |
Re: Paul Cook at Portsmouth
Can't blame anybody moving on if he'll get more money AND be nearer to his family.
Surely we'd do the same as a manager's life is too short to have any loyalty. Good luck to him.... |

Well hopefully he falls flat on his face

Re: Paul Cook at Portsmouth
I've been thinking about this today and you could say every Club he's been moved onto has been a bigger move!
Just finished listening to Portsmouth CEO interview and he he says loyalty is very fluid in football these days, If the manager has 2 bad games he's the worst manager ever but a manager does well and thinks he deserves a move the fans hold it against him! If it was a manager job in any other profession nobody would bat an eyelid, Not to mention that the Disney guy is talking about bringing in some kind of Director of Football. Who's to say Cooky would be comfortable or the new owner would even want Cooky as manager... On the flip side when he won the league a few weeks ago he said he would be at Portsmouth unless Portsmouth didn't want him anymore! |
Re: Paul Cook at Portsmouth
To be honest i wouldn't say Wigan is a bigger club than Portsmouth? They probably offered more brass possibly.
