That's not a nice view, I think Andy holt meant it in more of a we won't accept stupid low bids for players just because we need the money! Don't think we can stop players playing at a higher league

:) Sad to see Shay go:( but never the less a good move for Shay and a good return for Stanley;) Undisclosed fee works well for Stanley if not the fans. If news got a round Stanley received a record fee say 800k then anyone Stanley are interested in would then attach a fee in stead of a free be.

Whether clubs say its "undisclosed" or not people in the game can always find out what the fee was if they really wanted to. Whats harder to ascertain are the bonuses and clauses that can turn what looks like a crap deal for either the player or the selling club into something completely different.

In Shays case its just a pity he made his international debut the other week or Accy could have stuck that on as an extra for 50k

You can't stop cream rising to the top.
Shay played a major part in our recent success, both last season & the one before, when we came so close to promotion.
His contribution to our goal tally will be sorely missed.
Only hope the transfer fee will be spent wisely by signing a proven goalscorer - we're going to need one!

Gornell from what I heard was going as soon as the final whistle went last season
football agents like em or loathe them work round the clock Andy Holt has worked miracles with this club 12 months ago if Shay had have had the season he had just had it woud,it have been disclosed it would have been jack ****.
