Got approached by Swindon but Mansfield refused him permission to speak to them.
He had his list in place three weeks before the end of the season.

What's the point of signing two new youngsters from the academy and then proceed to sit them on the bench all season, i.e. Ross Sykes.

We should play them every minute of every game even if they are not good enough and even if we sign better players.

Thats not the point but yer too thick to see it.:rolleyes: if they are considered good enough to give a contract too, they must at least be given an opportunity,not promised they would be and then not, which happened last season.

Reason a) got potential, could develop into decent players
Reason b) first year pros equals cheap as chips.

Especially these days where we cant loan players cant be brought in we'll probably see more of this. If yer too thick to see it ...?

maybe you get funds for taking young pros on ? every year we promote at least 2 to the first team
