Pressure is on to keep what we've got ......... and not even a rumour of anyone coming in the opposite direction.
All we need now is a few injuries ..........goalkeeper centre forward and centre back ....... and that pressure tap might blow.
Hopefully there's a plan in place and there will be a flurry of activity soon.

we always seem to do last minute additions but we are now a division higher playing better sides every week. not all of those who got us promoted last season will come off next season and more quality is needed.

Not sure he would meet your 'quality' threshold, Monkey, but Joe Hart is saying he'd play in any league to get a permanent place!

But would Chewbaca 'bankroll' the signing?

Just saw this quote from Joe Hart on sky sports news Exile, might be worth a shot - after all he did start at Shrewsbury . . . . . .

I think the £5 mill offer on its way from Chelsea might put paid to that.

Re: Signings

Not a signing as such but just read on twitter that we've brought Tony Warner in as goalkeeping coach, wasn't he here briefly a few years ago??
Welcome back aboard Tony :)

He was with the keepers Saturday on the pitch.
Thought it had already been announced.

Good news cashman.

If the club gets an offer it can’t refuse and the lad gets the chance to set himself up for life financially along with playing for a far bigger club, then I wish him all the best.
Coleman has a strong track record of finding Gems.

I do expect Stanley to have a very busy deadline day for the first time with the new Aug 9th date and the daft wages players are asking for.
No doubt we will find some lads who want the opportunity to impress in league 1, and hopefully the deadline day counting down will help them be more realistic when it comes to wage demands.
We need to make the deadline day changes work in our favour.
