Just read that too Cashy but it's all rumour & conjecture at the moment, there's only Kayden himself & the club know exactly what's happening - I'm resigned to the fact that we're more than likely going to lose Kayden but until it's signed, sealed & announced officially I'll keep me red tinted glasses on :)

According to Andy Holt @ Dan Jewell its bullshine he aint asked. its obvious we will lose the lad but i still reckon it has to be 2 million.

It's all getting tedious isn't it ?
The lad's under contract so if the club says no ......... the answer is no.
However you're then left with the conundrum of a totally disgruntled player and he will be because earnings wise it would be life changing.
There's a long way to go to Thursday.
Let's see whose nerve holds.
Doesn't look like Ipswich though they are saying they've moved on to other targets.
Maybe .....

Quote of the day. Paul Hurst Ipswich.

Judging from Kayden's interview the other day he doesn't sound the least bit disgruntled, certainly not like he's trying to force a move as others have done before him. Time will tell . . . . . . .

Squad Numbers just announced on The Fishy Site.....
Interesting that No 4 has not been allocated........YET!
Incoming signing?......... who could it possibly be?:mosher:
Also interesting that Big Ben has been given the No 5 shirt and that Zanzala has been given the No 9 shirt.

I think of far more importance is that Tony Warner is registered !!!!! Number 34. Are we struggling for a back up keeper ?

don't see much difference in Hurst wanting £8m for Waghorn and turning down bids of £5m. to Stanley wanting £2.5m for Jackson and turning down £1.75m, its all a question of how much value is put on a player leaving their club, maybe if an acceptable fee is forth coming for Waghorn, the Jackson fee would be more acceptable

Because you say so?? I'm not saying he won't go, but as he's said whatever happens & whether he's here for a week, a year or 10 years he'll give his all for the club. So, if we can afford to keep saying no & Kayden is happy playing here for a little while longer, who knows . . . . .

In a word, yes. Coley has said he's been frustrated in his search for a second keeper, could've done worse than register Tony Warner temporarily, at least we have cover

Agreed. There are loads of comparisons to support whatever argument you want to make.
For instance Charlie Wyke. Is Kayden worth £1.5m more ?
Jack Marriott. Proven in league one scored more than Kayden is he worth the same ?

Re: Signings

If Jackson stays another few months, with more attention on him, and he does really well then he could get a better move than Ipswich.
Maybe he sees it this way and is happy to stay for now. he’s already taking his career forward by playing in a higher division than last year. Might do him good.
