If Satanage aren’t to be relegated (as stated in above link) and Leagues are not to increase in numbers, then presumably Barrow could go up if only three clubs from L1 went down.

Nothing can be finally decided until the Primadonna League make their minds up about what they're going to do, and the resulting interactions with the Championship. Brown sticky stuff always flows downhill . And if any over-extended clubs in EFL or NL go bust  through lack of income / bailout funds, there could be quite a few unexpected extra promotions to fill the leagues up before we start again.

Don't think there will be so many we'll finish up in the Championship, though :D

Re: Coronovirus

Spot on about the meetings Andy, it was the same at the start of the season and all the meetings about Bury, they went on for weeks and it all came to nothing except for a few TV interviews for the Shakers owner and EFL chairwoman. It would most likely have been cheaper to save the Shakers than pay all the travelling and meeting expenses.

Re: Coronovirus

Personally, the club chairmen who want the season finished are living in cloud cuckoo land. Peterborough, Ipswich, Sunderland, Fleetwood, Oxford Utd and Portsmouth are the teams wanting to play out the season. Please note, the majority of these teams are just in or even outside the play off places. And to cap it all, the Peterborough chairman states "those teams who do not want to play should forfeit the game" Complete and utter joke. I can understand that missing out on promotion and the play offs might be upsetting for some, however, the safety of all players MUST come first. This scheme could quite easily lead to a 2nd wave of Covid-19 and I for one don't want that to happen. So basically 6 chairpersons out of 23 want to restart football and all the complexities. In my book, the majority rules and being that the majority is nearly 3 times the number, I say do like League 2 teams have done and sort out the issues afterwards

And the best is yet to come imagine the meetings they are going to have about next season.

Re: Coronovirus

To me as a fan this season was easy to sort as league 2 and the national Leagues did, next season is the bigger hurdle to navigate, when does it start with or without crowds, contracts to sort with no income, length of season depending on start or how many clubs have kept alive I could go on but the way they have dealt with things so far football,s future looking dire with that shower overseeing it.
