Re: Season ahead??

All in all a decent season considering the blend of young hungry players in the squad. The change this season of moving away from reliance on loans to having more "own" players and a full U23 team has been difficult. Coley hasn't been able to find the right blend, either due to injuries and the Charles debacle. He still hasn't found a partnership up front to replace Bishop and Charles. Our performance next season will depend on how the new and new young lads improve after this season's experience in League One. Also, we need 2 senior keepers AT ALL TIMES. We don't want to repeat what's happened this season since Trafford was recalled.

It was a season of three halves () for me, unsurprising given we were as always under-resourced compared to the competition. Firstly over-performance aided by a friendly early fixture list making us look plausible promotion contenders :D, then reality beginning to bite but a few standout performances keeping us hopeful :), and finally running out of gas to the point where we were looking nervously  over our shoulders (well I was anyway).

And obviously the Dion Charles saga didn't help one little bit :(. Don't suppose we'll ever know what really happened, though I'm sure some will claim to know all but decline to share
