Under EFL regulation 67.2 clubs have until the 3rd Saturday in May (or 4 days after their last fixture) to inform their players who are out of contract on June 30th as to whether or not their services will be required for the next season(s)

Coley is away on holiday and we are usually on the last minute when we send our list in.

The good news is the vast majority of the current squad are either have long term contracts or options (to extend) in the club's favour.

found a scrap of paper on which I noted pre season signings of Tommy Leigh, Joe Hardy and Archie Proctor on 2 year deals - haven't searched fishy for that news period though.

I presume you are referring to Sean McConville……….?
Valairian has suggested, at his comment at #10, that Sean is still in contract. However, I can’t find any news reports on the Fishy site or information on football stats sites that verify this. So can’t really put him on the squad list as a ‘definite’ yet!:idunno:

I've searched the Stanley website and the last contract info for Sean is he signed a new deal in July 2019 until June 2022. Not sure if that will include an option for the club to trigger an extra year.

Sama, Mansell, Spinnelli, Stowe and Pleavin released Butcher a free agent after a contract that wasn't an improvement.
