. . .

. . . but not to throw away. That's why they need to have players like Ormerod on their books at the beginning of next season ; still fit and ambitious, keen to play for the first team every week , loyal to their club , and - above all - with flexible contractual arrangements which don't put a great strain on the player/club relationship.

As I said earlier on in this thread, this is where the good agent earns his corn.

Firstly Henry - I am Accrington born and bred and will always follow Accrington Stanley, although living in Wigan, I do like to see them win except on the 6th August. My heart will always be with the reds no matter what. If it comes to a choice between the JJB and the IES - then the IES wins hands down. Who needs Chelsea, Man U Liverpool et al when we can play the likes of Hereford, Aldershot and the like. Maybe in 27 years we will be playing top flight football.
Secondly, to answer previous posts re Brett, Paul Jewell (according to the local rag) is still keen to sign him from Southampton and considering they recalled him but have not played him, I think he will move in the summer and could end up playing against us on August 6th.
I will be bringing 3 Wigan fans on that day, but will consign them all to the cow shed while I sing my heart out for the mighty reds. Congratulations to E.W. for getting this game and the Preston and Burnley ones as well

I just can't see past the grass slope with the bus stop type thing on top as the away end at Wigan.. No terrace. No barriers. Just a grass slope..

Oh dear Kipax you must be thinking Springfield Park. The JJB is now an impressive stadium that will hold 25,000 + (although I don't know how you get any extra in without breaking fire and safety regs). the only thing is that after the game, the roads around Wigan are a car park, another reason why I support the mighty reds, I can get home after the match without going through the centre of a major shopping area of the town

Re: Have i missed something Brett

well brett started today for southampton and had a very good game until he started to cramp up with fifteen minutes to go.

With southampton getting relegated and with the likely possibility of kivin phillips leaving and henry camera returning to celtic, brett may very well be first choice up front with peter crouch next season, although southampton will do well to keep hold of crouch as well.

with this in mind is he now likely to stay at southampton and get games or sit on the bench behind nathan ellington and roberts at wigan. todays premiership results certainly might have some rammifications on bretts future.
