Don't want to appear churlish but, with all due respect to the lad, is this who all the secrecy was about last night? Is he the one who was on his way by plane? Or have we got more good news to look forward to today - not casting any doubts about Karl Shepherd, just not someone I've heard of & it was made to sound like we'd pulled off a real coup

My thoughts too Accymad never even heard of him, was expecting somebody of more mature years with a wealth of experience with all the fuss being generated last night, but good luck to the lad.

Didn't Mr T say summat about "a favourite with the ladies" - this Karl lad doesn't seem to fit the bill and flight time between RH's tweet and "just touched down" doesn't fit either. Being restricted to games within range of my pension down south, I don't know if Podge was/is a ladies favourite at the Crown.
