Re: Further squad news is expected in the next 24 hours.

Mr Coleman's motivational technique works in very strange ways.
Or does it?

I agree, but try telling Coley that. I don't think that we have played that back four many times this season. Edwards always seems to be the fall guy. Coley will not play him at right back, it's either centre of the defence or on the bench. At Boston Edwards (right back) was at centre half and Bains (centre half) was at right back. Against Notts County, Rogers left back and instead of Edwards right back it's Richardson (left back) and Edwards on the bench. Why do we constantly play players out of position. What's goint to happen against Mansfield when Harris returns ? Probably switch Boco up front, Harris in midfield and poor Browny on the bench.

That bit in the League Paper was not all the interview, he actually said that he would have to get on the telephone for the next 48 hours to try and get three defenders in.
The reference to the four targets not coming in was true, and I believe that to be the case, not as Jiffy Bag stated, the information he gave out must have been old news or hopeful news.

So we're dropping Welchy, Leam and Phil, and building the back four round Rocky?

Agree with everyone who says a defensive coach is needed, but what if one comes in and says that Rocky's not good enough to play in the Football League??

The lad will run through brick walls for the cause, but is that better than good technique? Record this season suggests not.
