So it is. All this name changing is confusing

But we'll still be handed a crap tie.

A crap draw might make it easier to progress further and then get a bigger team at home. Or maybe with luck we can go all the way.

We'll get a Conference team at home and they'll beat us. Probably Halifax or someone similar.

Re: Johnstone's Paint Trophy (LDV Vans)

Don't know whether you class this as good or bad news BUT there are no conference in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy this year.

The Conference were less then happy when the decision was confirmed at the League AGM.

It is definately regionalised all the way to the Northern Final, therefore guaranteeing a North/South Final at Cardiff ( Did you really think Wembley will be ready for 2007??)

Carlise at home or Blackpool away please

All Coca Cola league one and two teams. There had been about eight conference teams invited to take part in the last couple of seasons.

Smile Re: Johnstone's Paint Trophy (LDV Vans)

Right here goes

After checking the Football League site has announced the following

No conference sides

16 clubs given byes in 1st round ( not us)

Rest divided into 4 regional groups of 8

We're in North, west with Bury, Carlisle, Macclesfield, Rochdale, Stockport,Tranmere & Wrexham.

1 off games, with NO extra time, straight to pens.

Under 16's admitted free with payng adult.

Clubs must play at leat 7 first teamers.

Then 2nd round north/south as before.

So then to make some cash, Carlisle at home please

Tranmere away please. BIGGEST potential home crowd. On Scouse-erside so our boys probably have less to travel than the Tranmere side, and shed loads of local support for our boys from their families and friends. Ultras would be 500 strong at Tranmere.
