I have to say I never thought I'd see that!

I'm not knocking Bavs he's a good keeper, but he can suffer from the same fatal 5 minutes syndrome that Rocky suffers from.

I'm well pleased for the lad though as he appears to be relishing the chance to prove himself, and I have to say I've been well impressed with the performances I've seen from him recently. He is obviously enjoying the benefits of having the direction and confidence gained from proper specialized keeper coaching. So I guess thats well done to both Ians!!!

He only managed to drop the ball once on Sunday and he only flapped at thin air once when coming for a cross, so I would say it was a reasonable performance by his standards.

Well done, Ian.

I remember saying early last season that I thought we had the two best keepers in League 2 with Elliot and Bavs. With the arrival of Kenny Arthur, I still think we have the best two keepers in our League.

If Dunbavin is one of the two best keepers in the league there must be some dreadful keepers in league two.

Well done to Ian, I have to say that after the diabolical Wrexham game I commented to someone that the one positive thing to come out of that night was that Bavs had done far better than I thought he would have. He seemed to lose a lot of confidence when Dibs left, so maybe having specialist goalie coaching again has done him good - it's either that or the tights he's now wearing - even on a warm day in Dagenham

When I wrote that, I thought he was. He was brilliant at Watford. But as AccyMad says, he seemed to lose confidence after the departure of Andy Dibble.
