Trialist B

No idea who trialist B is for Accy against Warrington tonight but he's banged in 3 goals in double quick time this first half.

Looks like Christian Norton released by Cheltenham town.

Re: Trialist B

As someone on Twitter put it, they're off to the club shop tomorrow to get a shirt with "Trialist B" on the back of it.

He was taken off after 45 minutes. Presumably he'd made his case.

Yes it does. If it's him, his elite scoring record looks all too familiar though.

In " mens " football he hasn't had many minutes is record in junior league,s and premier 2 are pretty good and he has goals for Wales u19,s it's the market we have to shop around in though.

JC talks about 'having a punt' in his most recent video interview, because that's the pool we have to fish in.

If I remember rightly, Kayden jackson hadn't really got going before we signed him and that turned out ok.

Re: Trialist B

All this talk about 'mens' football is garbage.
At 17 years old, Dixie Dean scored 27 goals in 27 matches for Tranmere Rovers.
Transferred to Everton, Dean lifted them to success by scoring 349 goals in 399 games and an English record of 60 goals in one season, aged 20.
It doesn't matter whether your 14 or 24. You're either a goal scorer or you're not.
By the way, Christian Norton is 22. Not exactly a boy!

Surely the only statistic worth consideration is; 'He scored 3 goals in 45 minutes'.

No you're right he hadn't. The same point occurred to me. I remember being underwhelmed by the stats from his loan spell at Grimsby.
