Val, according to Matt Lowe himself in a recent interview.....the players have termed his new position as "Strike-back".........you're right of course "Only at Accrington"......but you never know, very soon...all the Top Teams will have someone playing "Strike-back".......

A much needed three points for the Stanley!
I was particularly pleased for Josh Andrews getting his two really well taken headed goals. I also love the connection he is making with the fans through his joyful goal celebrations. He got a great reception as he walked round the touch line after being substituted!
Also equally pleased with how Matt Lowe is playing as ‘Strike Back’! (Great position analysis Crown Grounder. xxx).He has always given maximum effort but it seems to be working much better for him in his ‘new’ position. Great tackler but also links up well going forward. Well done Matt!
FRG didn’t pose too much of a threat overall but we still let them make a couple of chances mid game. I would have felt more comfortable with a three nil lead and as Val says it meant a nervous last fifteen minutes had to be endured!
Excellent vocal and colourful support from the supporters too!
