Re: Worcester City Game
I read that your Manager John Coleman has said (in the NLP) that "If Worcester think they have done the hard work they might be in for a big shock".
I doubt very much that City have been thinking that way. Monday night is going to be no easier than yesterday, and full-time fitness and squad options could well be the over-riding factor. Thinking that we've got to play at least that well again, and then some more on top to win, is a huge challenge.
But the match provides a mouth-watering prospect. I love Monday night games at SGL, and the chance of an upset makes it even spicier!
Very much enjoyed the visit to IES - great hospitality and very friendly.
We were worried about player availability beforehand, especially in midfield, so you can imagine that it was something of a set-back to learn on arriving at the ground that Graham Hyde was not available for the game (though great news that his wife had just given birth that morning). Anyway, he'll be back for Monday night.
Anyway, travel well, those who do, and enjoy your trip to Worcester. I think you'll like the ground - its a hark-back to the old days of football stadiums. If you are following the directions off your 'Preview' page, note that when you come off the M5, the A449 is signposted towards Kidderminster.
