In the last two weeks my emails have started to arrive in duplicate - how can I prevent this?

Messages Disappear

In OutlookExpress I moved some messages to a newly opened file; decided to rename the file and the messages disappeared. Where have they gone? how do I recover them?

New computer 12 months ago; windows XP, broadband with BT Yahoo. Mail initially with Yahoo but reverted to Outlook Express which I preferred, email address was the same. Forwarded the few messages...

You guys deserve a medal; not sure what I have done, tried file-import- messages with newly created folder and it worked. Tools route gave no Folder Options so tried to reconfigure Tools menu without...

Redash your "try this" looks promising but you are dealing with a real "oldie"
Para 1 ok; para2 user name is Default User and cannot get to Local Settings and beyond.

Ian, 27 new "oldefile" has files from Canada.dbx to Trees.dbx, ranging in size from 10KB to 30,000KB. There may have been a slip-up by PC World, Jim.

Have started to go thru Flickr pics - will return to these.
Followed guidance; started OE6, copied from CD to new oldemail file.
Then do "File-Import-Messages".Tried with OE4 and OE6, no OEV4...

Thanks entwisi, am using OE, file info DBX File, Type dbx-auto-file. Have disabled Hide Extensions. Still struggling, regards, jimmieg.

Needed to transfer hard disc info from early Windows98 to new PC with Windows XP. Disgo Lite Driver did not work so PC World obliged - one CD for My Documents a second for emails. The second CD lists...

Fire at Williams

On July 30th 1910 several girls who lived in at Messrs Williams shop in Accrington were killed in a fire. Does anyone have any information on this tragedy?
