Re: The problem if you Mr.Khan bail out the club (again)

I would agree. Anything that bails out the current incumbents would seem to me a waste of money. Best save your cash for the resurrection.

Re: Monday 10pm

What appears to be happening here, is similar to what's happened in the past. Study the history of Exeter City.

Two would-be buyers of ECFC came in to buy the club from its aging owner chairman....

Re: 'red letter ?'.. Mark 2 !

I spoke to a colleague at the weekend who is on the supporters' trust committee that is the majority shareholder at and oversees the running Exeter City. He stated categorically that any PFA money...

Re: Rob Heys

I've read (on here and elsewhere) that Ilyas Khan was prepared to bail out the club with no preconditions. While that's very worthy and no doubt many supporters would be grateful, it strikes me as...

Re: "Save Our Stanley"

You say DON didn't know what he was getting into when he took over the club. Is that astute management? Is that the kind of management you would like to see take the club forward?

There's only one...

Re: "Save Our Stanley"

I could but won't give this appeal any money whatsoever. Set up a supporters trust under the auspices of Supporters Direct and I'll set up a direct debit and give a lump sum.

I'm not bailing out...

Re: 1000 Shares Issue!!!

This so-called share issue is completely bonkers. A share of what? It appears to me that what the club is doing is selling a piece of paper, 10 tickets and a shirt for £250. All this to bail out the...

Re: Statement on Shareholding

Unless the supporters set up a trust, this means very little, IMHO. Had the shares been given to a trust, it could well have set the club on its way upwards. Sadly, there seems to be no push to...

Re: Supporters Trust

It's not clear from what I've read on here what ASSF is. Is it just a fundraising group, albeit a ltd co in its own right, or just a vehicle for Ilyas Khan to gather support and influence?

I've...

Supporters Trust

There may be one, but I can't find it, so forgive me if I am duplicating.

Assuming there isn't one, why aren't a group of supporters in the Accrington area (it would be difficult to set up from...

Re: Dave O'Neil statement

What happened to "due diligence". Didn't DON go through the books to ascertain what the true picture was before he took over? Or is this too simplistic a question?

Anyway, what's done's done. We...

How up to date or complete is this list? According to MEN story copied below, Ilyas Khan is a 17 per cent shareholder.

On August 4, I ordered and paid online a new scarf and the match programme from the Darlington home game. I have emailed the club since - about one week ago - as I had not (and have still not)...

For obvious reasons, I watched the game on Sky. Delighted with the result but disappointed with the attendance. I do recognise though that the League Cup does not have the appeal it once did and...

Re: Tonight at worksop

I listened to the updates and penalty shoot-out on the Bee.

I must say, I'm slightly relieved we've been knocked out. I wouldn't want us to be in a position where we are having to play catch-up...

Re: Is it just me?

Michiganred: If we can replicate those results in the second half of the season - and my maths is correct - we could be looking at a mighty 90pts... enough to win the championship, I would expect.
