Jonothan Smith

"He has come on a lot since he last played against Barrow when he was quite a dirty player, all elbows and niggling."

Could it possibly be that he plays in exactly the same manner but for your side this season!?!?!?!?

Its amazing what the colour of a players shirt does when judging his ability!?!?!?

Our manager claims Smith wants to sign, not sure about Flitcroft but then I don't think he's really what we need.

There's no way Smithy would sign for Barrow when he's just achieved his dream of becoming a full time player - not too bothered about Flickers but I don't think he deserves to be left in Cumbria for too long

I've always liked Flickers and Smithy, want to see them both back at the IES soon and in the red shirt..................

Just an update on the Smith situation. I don't know if folks have noticed, but not only is he still getting rave reports from Barrow, but they've now made him captain!

Available for saturday.... I don't know if he is the right choice.. Time will tell and my fingers are crossed that the Barrow stint has done him good..

One things for sure... I will be giving him a rousing reception and we should all make him feel like accy stan is the club to be... not the mighty barrow.

Glad your back Jonothan.. I look forward to seeing you in an accy shirt and getting MOTM for us... Good to see ya back :)

Oh dear, hope he has a stinker with you and is sent straight back to us (permanently!)

Seriously though good luck to him whether he stays or comes back to Barrow, very commited and will be remembered well from his brief spell here.

Is he coming back 4 good? i really hope so. i'll be sooooo glad 2 see him bak at the IES, and at least now my grandparents will stop complaining that he's at Barrow!

Good luck Smithy i'm sure he will be up for it, it might have done him the world of good at Barrow, its good to see local lads playin !!!

Great news, welcome home Jonathon. I always think we play 10 metres further forward when Smithy's playing. It's also nice to know the very knowledgeable Barrow fans appreciated your efforts.
