Loo Rolls

Well I agree with you on this one jambutty ( don't fall over with shock ).
The missus always puts it on the wrong way so I have to correct it for her :D

Thanks for the link Margaret, however, all seems terribly difficult and don't have the correct tool ... think I will wait for a kind gentleman to come along who does .... :D

Don't be so 'helpless', get yourself a cordless drill and get on with it
The reason I have done lots of DIY is the fact that if you wait for a man to do it -

IT NEVER GETS DONE!!!

I was just going to say one of the kind gents off Accyweb will help you out;)

I am sophisticated as well, I only buy white toilet paper. You learn something new every day thanks Westender:D

once told my 8 yr old Grandson that he shouldn't waste toilet paper, and that two pieces were enough for anyone , one to wipe and one to polish .......the look on his face was priceless , but the Daughter-in-law was not much amused .

LOL ... my daughter always thought that the more she did, the more toilet paper she should use !! Took me a long time to convince her otherwise.

Going to the other extreme my daughter, her fella and the three kids went to visit his dad in Devon. Her fellas dad does the shopping monthly and my lot used a months supply of toilet paper, they had only gone for a week!!!

I think that we should go back to the golden days of newspaper in the flush. I do believe that the almost universal decline in values and morality is directly linked the introduction of soft, even scented toilet tissue of various colors. If defecation is made more pleasant, people will spend too much time in the toilet, daydreaming about winning the lottery. And don't forget, the main reason that the French are inferior to the British is the bidet.

Well I have had to go up and check :D but hang mine away from the wall.

Another tip about toilet roll for the ladies.....

If you are more prone to thrush, only buy white loo roll as the dyes used in coloured can be an irritant....!

At uni they're hung sideways, . :D

Gosh, I'm bursting to reply with a pun on this one .. but daren't, besides he's such a sweet lad .. :D

That is radical Cyfr, and think you would have to be careful how you bend over it near you ... ouch.! Wonder if there is a reason .. ask the caretaker .. may come up with some sort of reason. Maybe, they just bought them cheap 'on block' ..:D

well when you come to my house for a wee you get lovely warm loo roll cos mine sits on the radiator:D

well i have to be dont i ;)

No you 'aint .. that's where mine has to sit at the moment :p Hey, do you think that is why I don't have haemorrhoids ?? (never did believe the thing about sitting on cold flags anyway).

Harwood Red: Would bleached toilet paper not be worse than dyed though ?

When I was a child the only loo paper you could get was Izal. It was stiff, scratchy and shiney and you could use it as tracing paper, horrible stuff. The Civil Service was still using it up to 1980 and every sheet had Government Property stamped on it - as if you'd want to take it home, you'd have to be desperate.
