:)Thought that my self LD but they say that smelly stuff helps the grass grow and nitt quickly and should be ready..:)

Thanks for that Mab,implying more from the club!!.Think it could be rootzone,to help the grass growth.

Dont think so but havent been up to see, worryingly it wont be mud they will be playing on it will be rock hard as well, altho been assured that the sprinkler system is in place & working, so could be a muddy game, thats depending if burnley wanna play on it - their pitch is a week in front of ours & even they have moved their pre season matches elsewhere. Tho i think with stanley is they wouldnt want to turn down the income, income before the pitch it seems, tho surely playing on a pitch that isnt ready would only wreck the work done:confused::confused::rolleyes:
 
Being seeded as I post this, meeting buzzer up there later to water it with our whizz banging irrigation system.sorry to say it but we could now do with a bit of rain.

That would be 4 days before start of season, no way would they do that.

Out of curiosity, I know the sprinkler system isn't a hosepipe but what happens if they bring in a hosepipe ban in the next week or so ? would they be allowed to fill up the tanks ?
 
i think burnley my pull out .... burnley are playing bacup soon its nice and green up there. been seed for weeks ... plus nice new blue seats in main stand new dug out out build bye me ...

Seems the water fountain works or someone is having a giant pee on the mud. Is there supposed to be a puddle at coppice end?

Looking at that mick, have me doubts if it will be ready fer the "Shots" never mind the friendly.:eek:

Shouldn't be a problem, Having been up there for most Burnley reserves games the puddles are normal aren't they ;)
