They'll probably arrive in their kit, and leave in their kit (if the coach driver will let them on with muddy boots, that is) ;)

Just been up to the ground pitch LOOKING GREAT! so I'm well excited and a definate buzz about the place, club shop gearing up nicely and everything going well so far :D

Can't wait - bring on the toon!

I doubt it mate, aint southern softies, different breed Northerners.:D

Liverpool arrived and left in their kit a couple years ago.
I'm certain it's not a north / south thing, the problem lies in the premier league, they're all a bunch of big girls blouses. :D

And SM !..Fred. that well-known Weather Pundit on Granada News also sounded quite hopeful regarding the chances of LESS rainfall in our area !.

Stanley Hope's that he is correct for once !.

Oh ye of little faith, mucho dinero was spent on the ground.

Given this massive outlay Cashy....how is 'Ilyas's Pitch' looking after a dose of 'Indian Summer' sunshine ??...
and will JC's 'Braves' be able to produce the 'passing-game' he is constantly seeking against those sneaky wanderers from Wycombe tomorrow dost think ?.

EXCELSIOR !!

Given a couple of faults, gotta say in my opinion the pitch looks better n ive ever seen it.:)

The contractors were working on it this week, perhaps they have reseeded parts and the sand is there to try and protect the new seeding ?

The pitch was not good today very sandy noticeable when running on it and the ball was so unpredictable and didn't help. Tho the sprinkler at half time didn't half spray getting a few clayton enders wet lol

Let's be honest we need a new ground. We have spent £70,000 on a new pitch and it's not right, how many more times will that happen before it's good enough.

my brother was asking about this today .. and i could only tell him what i read on here ... he also made the comment about the sand coming up every time it bounced .. asking if there was any sand left on blackpool beach ....

It did appear to me that for the Lincoln game Ilyas's pitch did play 'right'...so whilst we thank John, Jimmy, and their great team for their absolutely professional and entertaining performance, lets pass a sincere well-done to Buzzer and his helpers for producing a surface which was, undoubtedly, 'fit for purpose' !.

was certainly nowt wrong wi the pitch friday night,IMHO the lads have worked the oracle getting it up to standard, well done.:)
