When I read about the arrest of Steven Gerrard for allegedly fighting in a Southport night club, I was concerned that one of those arrested with him might have been his good friend Ian Dunbavin…………. especially when it said that the others weren’t footballers!:)

bobby come on mate! wounder what will happen if he does get charged will the club let him go or stil keep him? i hope they keep him beucase i like bobby hes a good player
 
Will who keep him ??? Southport Police or Stanley.
He has not done anything wrong, only been arrested at this stage:confused:

even if he has been arrested.. i dont think it should make any difference... jeeze hes an 18yr old .. find me 10 that havent been arrested at his age :)

probably gonna get shot down for saying that

but what i meant was.. it shouldnt be held against him... let the courts decide who is wrong and dish out punishment not clubs or fans
 
He's supposed to be someone the fans look up to. He's not an ordinary 18yr old, he has got responsibility.

+ I don't know about you, but I never got arrested when I was 18. Must have been the company you hung around with k-p:tongueout

No one at our club would get themselves into trouble like that. Especially after recent tragic events close to our team in related circumstances. He wasn't charged therefore I'd guess it was a 'wrong place/wrong time' scenario for Grant.

p.s. not all who have been arrested at 18 are shady characters :)

its accy stanley not man united... bobby grants ok.. best leave it to those that are supposed to sort it out.. hanging someone on a messageboard is a bit poor when you dont even know what happened..
 
I'm not hanging anyone, just saying if he was a naughty boy. If being the word, he should get a smacked bottom from the club.

JC has already said both Stanley players just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. No rules broken.

100% right K-P.nobody should be shot down on a media story, unless yer a "SUN" reader, lets see what emerges first.:rolleyes:
