Re: Former Players!
Condolences to Gordon's family. Stalwart of the late 50s squad.
How times have changed...his appearances in his last two season were limited because of his National Service call up. It was a late call-up because, as a miner, he'd previously been exempt! |

Not seen Pierro Mingoia's name on the Cambridge team sheet for a while.
I am presuming that he is still injured with a groin problem he has had since Christmas or does anybody know anything else?:idunno: |
Re: Former Players!
You're right choirboy, Pietro's still struggling with the injury that's kept him out since Christmas - a hip injury I think, some of their fans were saying they don't think he'll be back this season

Re: Former Players!
According to Wikipedia Matty Pearson has made less than 10 appearances for Barnsley.
Anyone know if this is due to injury or is he just out of favour? Would love to see him back. |
