Fred Bentley

Not sure , whether this is the right pace for this post, but just read that he died a few days ago. Soo sad,

I really don't know what to say, except deepest sympathies to his family.

He really was one of the best. I used to hate sports but he was still a great PE teacher.

Fred was in the year lower that me at the Holy Family, but knew him quite well, nice bloke, was very sad to hear of his death. Re: holy family

Hi I'm working at Mount Carmel at the moment and need some history on the merger of Paddock House and Holy Family. Could anybody help? I'm looking for the date when they merged to become Mount Carmel.

With regards to the first thread about Fred, unfortunately Fred did die a few months back of cancer. Everyone at school was deeply affected at hearing the new of his death and many went to pay their respect at his funeral. There has been a facebook account set up in his memory with many many lovely comments about him. Welcome to Facebook! | Facebook

Thanks

Unfortunately Robert (ha ha ha) I was never in her class, but the cookery room was our form room in I think the forth year, in other words Mrs C just used to mark the register then we were on our travels for the rest of the day, think she used to take pity on John Waldron and myself slogging back up Spring Hill Road after lunch
