I rang Dell about 8 some months ago and they inserted one for me, they just beat accyman to it as he was going to do it for me:D, using the button helps you to bypass 8 and have had no problems since

I have a Dell laptop Gordon, and I rang them about mine, they down loaded a start up button, so I now just ignore windows 8 and use it like a 7, whether you can do that with a desk top I don't know,...
