I agree with you and Cashy....if I am in hospital they can call me what they want. I'm just grateful for their help.....shame there aren't more like us, eh? :D

Looking at it from a different angle, maybe it's better to call them Mr. as it keeps a bit of distance between officers and prisoners.

Use of christian names could be seen as being a bit too...

This is not a new thing.

A friend of mine is a prison officer and she first mentioned to me years ago that she has to address prisoners as Mr. rather than using their christian name. They call...
