I have to agree with Exile when he says that statistics are concoctions produced mainly by the pundits. Assists/percentage possession etc etc are meaningless rubbish. But I do take note of the stat...

In that miserable first half, I thought that Jerome was our best attacking threat by far. If he is going on one of his attacking forays, why doesn't another player cover for him? At least he was...

The Stanley website says it was Opoku who gave away the penalty but having just watched the highlights (so-called :confused::confused:) surely it was Conneely.

I can only comment on the first 45 minutes - but what a huge contrast between the teams. Nicky Hunt, playing centre back for Crewe, was able to pass to an available and unmarked Crewe player on every...
