I would think they have park, be a bit daft not to, as you do need PP on these shelters

Well, of course, understand Park querying it .. looks like HBC thought the same initially :-

http://www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/site/cu...11_07_0161.pdf

Then a new application, although a little obscure as to exactly where :-

http://www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/site/cu...007%200563.pdf

Could have missed summat of course ..need to see the actual plans.

Sure all OK though.

Apparently planning permission was refused initially because of the materials they were going to use to build the shelter. They changed the materials, re-submitted plans and permission was granted the second time.

OK ... thanks Lilly, just doesn't say exactly where on the second application .. sooner HBC get the plans attached to applications the better .. really behind with this one.

Second application indicates, lean to, flagged floor, boundary wall. Does not include a "glass canopy" seems a little vague don't you think.
I must agree with Katex, the sooner HBC attach plans to applications the better. BwD do that, all the planning documentation is there for all to see on line, including all plans.

I see that work seems to have stopped with the smoking shelter.

This may be why
enf. No 85 looks like there has been a breach of planning regs.

No not guilty kate. Went past the Black Dog the other day and noted that the dwarf walls had been capped off, and thought there must be a problem.
So on looking on HBC's website I find that Mr Whitaker HBC's enforcement officer has been round there, and stopped the job. You have got to admit it would have been a rather large smoking shelter, the full frontage of the building ;)

Certainly do agree Park .. (even though I smoke meself), but always thought it looked rather nice without anything extra really, would have been a shame.
