Cashy wilkinsons are still with us but on Garden Street the sons of course and they have a stall in Blackburn Market i go there for my cooked meats best cooked meats in Lancashire .:theband:

I think I seriously slipped up when I named a topic for the current photo comp.
I should have said 'Public Seating in Hyndburn' so that I could have more choice and know what they look like before I go.

wasn't refering to wilkinsons bondi, refering to the row of houses were nortype lived.:)

Raymond i remember Dr Pittard and Agneses pie shop but cant for the life in me remember the Butchers i will have to ask mother but i am sure it was wilkinsons but the lads have taken it over and moved into Garden Srett just doing cooked meats i will ask your Jeff he only lives round the corner from me i will get back to you on that one but will find out of someone.

Raymond you are right certain people on here are saying there never was a wilkinsons on tinker bru but they havnt lived here as long as us so we will just let them live in the little dream world they are in eh

brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face:)

The car was an Austin 7 - reg HG114 and he rigged it to run off paraffin during petrol rationing

It was funny, you having mentioned it here. I said we know someone in common, meaning you, and the first words out of his mouth were that you were his first sweetheart, aged seven.

I heard all about your mum and dad's cars wheel's, which had obvoiusly impressed him, and that there was only room in the back seats for you and him. I think he meant as passengers, I hope you weren't up to any mischief at that age.:D
