I can see why your in tears cashy, there are a few of my old haunts in that list St. Leger, that was the under age pub when we were at tech and also the New Brewery, I remember the woman who had a trip stall on Accy Market had the Tramway in the late seventies early eighties

they were all old haunts of mine at one time,as well as many others have mentioned, the landlady of the welcome inn, used to see us 8-30 in morning in town centre, all in "Tech Attire" say good morning,smile, then serve us at dinner (without the uniforms):D

There once was a time when ONLY PUBS could sell alcohol.
I recall passing the door of The Heys Inn in my childhood and a 'selling out' hatch was visible in the vestibule entrance.
The demise of public houses began when supermarkets started selling it, and the smoking ban was the last straw.
